Management Report
During the reporting period, many development tasks were delivered, in information technology and human resources. The new performance management and incentives policy was approved and put it place.
The foundation produced many short promotional videos and teasers, and used livestreaming for events, which increased social media followers and engagement with the foundation’s media outlets. A framework agreement was signed with Ah- Ahlia Press.
Many development tasks associated with the IT infrastructure for the new building and staff needs at the AMQF were implemented. The Gaza and Ramallah-based library software, including all related phases, were upgraded, and crucial developments were introduced to the AMQF website.
An amended terms of reference (TOR) for the Management Committee was approved and rolled out. Work is underway to implement the approved recommendations of internal audit reports.
In the pursuit of more diversified and sustainable funding sources, the AMQF signed two agreements, with Taawon Association and Goethe Institute.
AMQF New Building
The majority of drop ceilings, false wall panels, office room dividers, stone flooring of interior and exterior terraces were finished. Work has started to install movable partitions under the supervision of an expert from the Dynamobel Company. Preparations are underway to create the gardens. In addition to louvers, aluminium and glass panels were fully installed on all facades of the new building. Most electrical equipment, including the generator, panels, machines, and system mechanical equipment were procured and installed. The groundwork for all electrical and mechanical systems was also finished. Except for those purchased directly by the AMQF, tenders for furniture supply were awarded/invited.
