Consultations in planning and restoring old buildings
This consultation was designed to meet the needs of Sakiya Art/Science/Agriculture, one of the partner organisations in the first round of the VAFF project, in the area of planning and restoration. This process involved learning through training volunteer graduate architects, and participating in giving workshops, and documenting the experience through sketches, photographs and articles.
Consultation in archiving / Paper and digital art collections
This consultation was a response to the need of Al Ma’mal Foundation for Contemporary Art, a partner organisation in the first round of the project, in the field of archive keeping – including what this process entails, covering the training of the Foundation staff in working with archives and how to preserve them, as well as holding supervision meetings to oversee the process of archiving.
Consultation in Artistic Evaluation and Designing Children Activities
This consultation was based on the need of the Tamer Institute for Community Education, a partner institution in the first round of the project, to develop a plan for launching four illustrated stories to be published by the Institute with the support of the grant, and what the project entailed, including the design and production of the launch event at the Palestinian Museum.
A Consultation in Art Curating
This consultation was a response to the need of the General Union of Cultural Centres (GUCC) in Gaza, one of the partner organisations in the first round of the project, to develop the concept of and produce the final exhibition for the Contemplative Contrasts programme, and to organise a parallel series of seminars.
