This intervention comes as a response to the needs of partner organisations to develop their capacities in the area of Monitoring and Evaluation.
To respond to these needs, the VAFF project hired the consultant Yara Abdulhamid. Since November 2018 until June 2019, the consultant has held 14 individual meetings with the management of each organisation, and with the person responsible for undertaking monitoring and evaluation and/or report writing in each organisation, in order to design the intervention programme. This intervention is to be implemented over a six-month period and according to the availability of partner prganisations.
This intervention aims to provide those employed in the organisations with the necessary tools and skills to understand monitoring of their projects, to gather information on indicators of success and in writing reports that document the achievements and outcomes of various programmes and understanding their audiences and beneficiaries. This intervention also contributes to developing the capacities of organisations to better manage the risks and challenges that could face the implementation of the different projects.
