Gaza (8 October 2018)
Students from Atfaluna Society for Deaf Children succeeded in creating three cyber scientific projects following their participation in the Scientific Programme Fab Lab, organised by the Child Centre - Gaza/A. M. Qattan Foundation, as part of its autumn activities of 2018.
Participants in the meeting learned the concept of scientific projects and how to implement them using several imagination- and problem-solving-based approaches. The scientific models produced included a hydraulic arm, a metal detection device and cyber-electric generation.
Using sign language, student Mohammed Mushtah expressed his joy and satisfaction: “I love the sciences because they are fun and I am thrilled to implement the hydraulic arm because it is a sweet idea and we worked in an interactive ambiance.”
Fab Lab is a free scientific space for children to motivate their creativity and design capabilities. It is implemented by the Child Centre - Gaza/A. M. Qattan Foundation throughout the year. Students from Atfaluna Society participate in the autumn cycle, which continues till 15 December 2018.
