Abdel Mohsin Al-Qattan: No joy is comparable with the joy of giving

Before the end of 2017, on 4 December, Abdel Mohsin Al-Qattan (Abu Hani) passed away. The founder and the visionary of this foundation.  

Perhaps what Al-Qattan used to constantly repeat; “The greatest pleasure in life after a man achieves and meets his family’s needs, is giving… There’s no joy comparable to the joy of giving, and this culture should be spreaded out”, summarizes his devotion to serve his people, and reawakens the power and desire within us to continue to achieve the foundation’s mission, and to find reasons for hope.

Al-Qattan reinforced the necessity to cultivate hope among the youth and warned of its loss; “I believe that losing hope and public frustration are the reasons behind the lack of social freedoms in Palestine, as well as many other Arab countries… We have to grow hope among the youth and others, to revive society; as only society is capable of bringing about the desired change on the level of public freedoms.”
