Selections in Drama and Learning, a book written by Dorothy Heathcote and Gavin Bolton, was recently published by The Qattan Centre for Education and Research Development. The 208-page book is a collection of articles by the authors about drama in education, which had been published previously in Ru’a Tarbawiyya magazine, also published by the Centre. Having writings for Heathcote and Bolton available together in one volume will make this book a vital reference for teachers who use drama in their classrooms. The book is also a required reading material for teachers who join the Drama in Education Summer School run by the Centre as part of the Drama in Education Programme.
