Qattan Foundation, City Talks, the second phase of Cities Exhibition VI 2017-2018, was launched in the context of the Qalandiya International (Qi) Festival 2018. Titled Voice and the City, a conversation was held between Manal Massalha, a researcher and participant in the project, and Tamer Nafar, Hip-Hop artist. The conversation took place  on Monday, 9 April 2018, at the Attic of Khalil Sakakini Cultural Centre in Ramallah.

The conversation revolved around the seclusion and historical development of the Lod city, with a particular focus on problems associated with the Al-Mahatta neighbourhood. It also covered how the centre of this Palestinian city is rendered lifeless and withdrawn in new Israeli neighbourhoods. The conversation addressed the civil and cultural movement within the Lod community and its relevance to other Palestinian cities, particularly those in the 1948 territory.
