Gaza- (A.M. Qattan Foundation):
Dozens of children joined the arts and cultural events organised by the Child Centre- Gaza/ A.M Qattan Foundation as part of the “Child-Friendly Space” Project implemented by the Centre throughout the year in the Sammouni area- East Gaza; al-Karama Centre for Cultural Development – Rafah; al-Zahra Association for Development – al-Mughraqa; al-Maghazi Community Rehabilitation Society in al-Maghazi refugee camp – Central Gaza and Beit Lahiya Development Association – Northern Gaza.
During summer Activities launched on June 11, 2019 included reading, storytelling, folk games, puzzle, making toys from natural materials and leaf printing on fabric.
The “Child-Friendly Spaces” Project aims to entertain children and widen their cultural, cognitive and intellectual horizons.
The activities, benefitting 500 children in all regions, continue until August 2019.
