Gaza – (A.M. Qattan Foundation – 31 January 2019):
On Wednesday, 30 January 2019, a delegation from the Swiss Federation Terre des hommes (TdH) visited the Child Centre – Gaza (CCG) / A.M. Qattan Foundation.
The delegation included Fabienne Arnould, Director of TdH Palestine, Dr. Khitam Hamad, TdH Gaza Office Manager, Jean-Michel Molenaar, Director of Swiss Fab Lab, and Yousef al-Yaziji, Director Fab Lab in the Gaza Strip.
Nehaia Abu Nahla, CCG Director, received the delegation. Abu Nahla briefed the visitors about the CCG work and experience, particularly in science and technology. CCG staff made a presentation and screened short films, highlighting the Centre’s experience and children’s achievements. Children actively engage in CCG science and technology programmes and clubs.
The visit was made to look into opportunities for future collaboration between TdH and CCG.
